Eeh, but seriously. I like the Halo games quite alot. Still haven't got into that H3 beta and I WON'T. Yes, I am a huge fan and won't. Suck that pay-for-beta service.

Yup! Have you read any of the novels? They're FANTASTIC. Well.... the ones that are written by Eric Nylund. Fall of Reach goes into the back story, it's quite good. :)

Yeah, I didn't get into the H3 beta, I didn't really want to. I mean, call me old fashioned, but I wanna play it when it's ready.

Ya know, thats actually the kind of feeling I had about the beta as well. I want it when its finished. Not to get teased horribly, or to spoil my apetite.

I haven't read the novels, but I really think I should. Since I really love the whole backstory/universe of Halo. I like all the mysteries and unanswered questions about... well, pretty much everything. Theres some very subtle things in the games alone.

*noddles* Of course, the other reason being, for the most part, I play Halo because of the singleplayer experience. Multiplayer is a bonus for me, but it's not the sole reason I bought/play halo.

Hehe. Me too, really. I played for maybe... five levels? On Halo 2 mp. I have heard some people say that Halo is not original or inventive. I think they missed the point. The SP really is the great part I am looking forward to.

I think the reason I never got into Halo was because it was just made to appeal to everyone, and normaly games that are ment for a wide audience dont appeal to me, too watered down or dummied down or something akin to that. I perfer Nitch games myself. :3

It was fun, and I have no genuine ill-will towards it - I just think it's been highly overrated.

It's a fun game and I still break it out once in a while (I have it on PC), but I think it's popularity is based more on clever marketing and popular-hysteria then it's own unique qualities.

Perhaps I'm being unfair, but I see Halo-Mania as a fad - nothing more.
