A Crouching Medium (Kick in 6 button games) is normally a character's best long-reaching cancellable poke. Some are low-profile for scenarios where the jumper can't trip-guard, some have meter build on top of combo damage. Others might be stubby to fit with the character's physique, but others send you 3/4ths of the screen instantly with medium scaling so they get a 50% combo or even a ToD if they invest resources because top tier privilege plz nerf
