Over the course of the weekend I did a few 12 hour shifts at work. The work requires doing a fire watch each hour and then wait around to do it again on the next hour. During the waiting period I draw in my sketchbook to pass the time. This picture was done over the course of two days of work. ^\/^.
Basically a really large demon attempts to cleave D. Dan in half. The sword only hits the top of the head with a loud clanking sound. D. Dan, with one hand, lifts the large sword and looks up, from behind, up to the demon in back of him. In an annoyed, and somewhat insulted tone, basically replies back 'how dare you' and what have you.
I got the idea for this picture from watching a part of an episode of Bleach a long time ago. It was during the arc where the zanpakto were rebelling against their masters and Zenpachi finally showed up. The part in question from that episode is ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAOjriYs8SQ ) when Wabisuke tried to get Zenpachi from behind. It is one of the more rememberable scenes I have seen with Zenpachi. That guy cracks me up so much and is always a joy to watch. LOL. ^\/^.

So you watched the Rebellion arc after all!
Pretty funny stuff here, I hope to see it colored soon. I also must add that I also watched most of the arc; it helped me shape Kuro, you know, my zanpakuto and its corresponding spirit's physical form (which is much better than Jinzen in terms of communication when you think about it).
