Hello!
It's been way too long since I started this piece and first sketched it, so it's been about time I finally lineart it and give it the colour and treatment it deserves! I wanted to draw some of the cutest Pokémon together again and decided to draw this wholesome scene of Vulpix and Ninetales, the fire fox Pokémon together^^
It might not be a special scene yet it warmed my heart working on it and get back into colouring traditional pieces! I missed it a lot and had lots of fun working with Brushmarkers and Coloured Pencils, again! I must say, I haven't gone all that rusty and am very satysfied with the result! Vulpix especially makes me smile when looking at it while Ninetales was a bit of a challenge to get the colours right. in the end, i think I managed and added quite a bit of extra detail with coloured pencils after. It frames the characters, brings more depth and contrast to them and overall rounds up the illustration. A piece that certainly isn't flawless but one I'm proud of, hoping to sell into good new hands at some point^^

That is some *gorgeous* usage of your traditional tools of choice to create fur, and props for superb blending to the point where it's almost impossible to tell where markers end and colour pencils start.
And that's before I even get to maybe possibly liking this fiery fox family a lot and thus admitting my bias~

My favourite Pokémon is Growlithe^^ Arcanine is great, too! There's so many good ones hehe, I just love some of the cute designs! 💚💜I think I truly found more interest in it in 2016 when I started playing Pokémon Go. i didn't keep it up all that long, but it made me appreciate the creatures more.
