A commission for the eternally patient Fiddlestickx who asked for something like Fabric of the Universe, but with her character knitting a garment around her own body.

I won't lie, this concept evaded and intimidated me for a very long time. I tried many different tactics to get the knitting to look right, knowing that Fiddle would assuredly see any mistakes or know if it wasn't crafted in a way that was accurate to the real life medium. Ultimately after a few failed attempts, I decided it would be best to render it by hand, stitch by stitch, as you would with the real thing. Somewhat poetic.
