Excellent eye detail! Lovely picture too! The highlights over the eyes really give a feeling of curvature, depth, and solidity. And the color variations in the ring of the iris around the pupil are perfect!
if a total non-artist might offer a suggestion? Don't let the yellow tint wash over the black of the pupil.
A person's eye color comes from the structures around the pupil. The pupil is just a hole into the interior of the eye. And curved cornea over the top is normally clear (unless you're wearing tinted contacts).
I know Vargr really hasn't a right to be kibitzing - having next to zero art skills. But the slight fog of color over the pupil makes wuff think of the start of cataracts fogging the eye's lens. *hugs* No offense?
