I'd really like to add a nice long description to this + also, include descriptions of each species below each drawing to describe their niche & qualities... but I haven't had the organization skills lately! I really need to just share the completed lineups as they are for now, haha.

a quick description: FORESTS are the global ecosystem of GOLD CLOUD. The planet would be a cold, dead rock were it not for the alien parasitic life form "THREADS", which enable life to thrive across the planet. THREADS distribute heat & draw in & bounce the distant sunlight in all directions, creating a uniformly hot, humid, misty climate without a meaningful day/night cycle, or visible sun in the sky.

GOLD CLOUD has no oceans, but is composed of thousands of threading freshwater rivers and pools of lakes, as the THREADS carve the soil steadily in their slow, slow ambulation. As a result, most animals are at least swimming-or-wading-capable, and most aquatic animals are semi-terrestrial (as the rivers & lakes are continuously moving, flooding, drying up, etc, at a much, much more unpredictable rate than Earth). THREADS weave through every environment, and many animals climb and live upon them.

the FOREST is so dense with low vegetation, there are few pursuit predators, little games of chase occur here. The common method of predation is ambush.

GOLD CLOUD does not have hard, woody plants or "trees". GOLD CLOUD also lacks tectonic plates, much like early Earth.
