Introducing the calico cat Maisy Costigan! Another new recruit to The Rocketeer portrayed by another player in my ttrpg campaign.

Maisy is a young calico cat living in the Avalonian port city of St. Stotwick. She spends her typical day working with her uncle Rian in The Costigan Workshop, known mainly for their expertise with repairing and maintaining the airships docking in the city's sky port. Maisy takes her work very seriously, and has a passion for understanding the inner workings of just about anything that she can get her hands on. While her uncle Rian may be the owner of the shop, Maisy is the one that usually opens and closes its doors.

One day, normal as any other, her uncle had given her the usual endearing razing about working too loud and "being a good for nothing bottom of the ladder employee" (in a workshop with only two employees, and her always faster than him.) When along came in a peculiar Rabbit, with spotted brown fur, and a blue coat. She came in asking about some maintenance done to her ship, The Rocketeer. Simple work, fixing some piping in the engine, and fixing up their steering. Maisy decides to head over to the ship and make the repairs.

What she found was not quite the ordinary job she was expecting. She spoke with and got to know the captain, as well as the quartermaster Oliver and the rest of the crew. She felt a sense of belonging as she and Oliver worked on what she found to be a leak in the engine's piping. The cat even went above and beyond by finding and helping catch a stowaway hiding in the belly of the ship! She did such a great job that the captain even joked about her coming on as a member of the crew! To Ms. Costigan though, it was no joke.

Maisy that night would talk with her uncle, how she had grown a yearning to see the world, and live as the rabbit does. To learn about machinery and the complexities of the world! Uncle Rian, though grumbling and pouting, he always did tell her that she had to get out of the house more..

The very next day, Maisy Costigan rushes to The Rocketeer to speak with her captain, where she accepted the invitation to join the ship as a member of her crew! Captain Rabbit, although a bit shocked to hear the proposition, did not take a second thought, and accepted the young calico immediately.
