Candy laid eggs last night! A beautiful clutch of 28 eggs, all look good :D
Candy's clutch is one of my favorites at hatching time because there is a *huge* variety. Candy is het amel, anery, caramel, and motley. Her mate Gilgamesh is a butter (amel and caramel) het anery motley.

Unfortunately snake eggs probably wouldn't travel well - besides the usual issues of shipping something living, they evolved to stay put until they hatch and if they are flipped over the yolk can smother the embryo (at least that's my understanding of why they can't be rolled - I've never tried it!).
Nope! For some reason Candy's eggs tend to have "windows" on them, that is, thin transparent patches in the shell O-o I've tried giving her more calcium this year but still... windows!
However the eggs seem to do fine anyway - sometimes they herniate and last year one leaked a little but still hatched out a healthy baby!
