The contract brokers had informed both Ryker and Arokhan about this "task" that they gave them, which would've been fairly simple for them as all they had to do was go to a designated location they gave them to retrieve a specific someone for their own reasons. Unbeknownst to Ryker and Arokhan, this individual they wanted them to retrieve would be fairly heavily guarded and also suspected that someone would come for them, which led to things becoming not so "simple" once they both arrived.
