While I have not interacted with Sy Sables, also known as Mark Merlino, the only way I found out about him was through a Furry Con Documentary, or another name it could be called a Furcumentary. He and his partner appeared to be down-to-earth people to be around.

When I heard the news on Mastodon that he passed away, I felt disheartened about the news. While many of us are thankful for his acceptance and a place of belonging within the fandom, hopefully, everyone will be respected, accepted, and have a purpose.

So to everyone I’ve interacted with in the past, present, and a bright, hopeful future, I’d like to express my thank you to YOU!!
