Just as the title suggested, I want to host a free art raffle :) I always love drawing art of people's characters and felt like I should give a little something back to the community!

This is Echo, an Arcanaloth, which is a type of Yugoloth. As demons are to chaotic evil, and devils are to lawful evil, Yugoloths are to neutral evil freely selling their services to the highest bidders. Arcanaloths in particular are known for collecting every scrap of magical lore they can get their hands on.
Echo himself lives in the planar city of Sigil, where he gets by day to day by scribing the most popular scrolls that adventuerers look for in mass. He's fond of tracking down blueprints for magic items that have fallen out of popularity, and trying to reinvent them for a modern audience. While not as vile as his typical kin, Echo does struggle at times with his natrual urges of being a Yugoloth. This typically manifests as sort of "cheat days" where he'll go watch underground blood sports, do a bit of shop lifting, or simply head down to a tavern to catch up on the latest sad stories. He feels bad afterwards, but it's a bit like an addiction for him.

i have many paths for my fursona, but this is the adventuring mage wielding medium armor and swords or spears. more of an elven kind. i dont have to much of a backstory for any of the "paths" mentioned, but the idea is that he is a powerful mage that travels around with his two feral wolf companions. his favorite type of magic would be conjuring blue flame to both defend himself, but also conjure flame creatures to attack his enemies.

Details of her full story are not hammed out but more or less this is my OC Apophia, a Vampyre (Vampire Dragon). In concept she is from an older order of wyvern species that specialize in being sanguinivores. Tales of them date back to middle ages where they were seen crawling on castles and using long prehensile tongues to rip sleeping citizens from their beds in the dead of night. Normal depictions of them describe them being black and red, but Apophia is white leading her to be special in a way I have not fully figured out yet.
As a dragon she is meant to be horrible, ugly, gnarly, and any other word you can describe a malevolent beast, however when she takes on a human form to mingle with other humans she is fair and beautiful, making her seem unassuming.

Her story:
She was born in Paris, the daughter of a famous fashion designer and a wealthy businessman. She had a privileged and glamorous life, attending the best schools and parties, and modeling for her mother's brand. She was admired and envied by many, but she felt bored and empty inside. She craved adventure and excitement, something that her shallow and superficial world could not offer.
She discovered her passion for stealing when she was 15, after she snuck into a museum and stole a priceless painting as a dare. She felt a rush of adrenaline and satisfaction that she had never felt before. She realized that she had a natural talent for stealth and deception, and that she enjoyed the challenge and the thrill of taking what she wanted. She decided to pursue a career as a cat burglar, using her beauty and fame as a cover and a weapon.
She adopted the nickname "Whisper", because she was silent and elusive, and because she left behind messages for her victims, mocking them and challenging them to catch her. She targeted the rich and powerful, especially those who were corrupt or greedy, and stole their most valuable and cherished possessions. She also had adopted a punk attitude and style, rebelling against the norms and expectations of society, and expressing herself through music, art, and style.
She was a legend among the thieves and the hackers, a mystery to the public, and a nightmare to the elite. She was Whisper, the cat burglar, and she was unstoppable.

Here's a small album of my aberrant mind illithid/formerly dragonborn sorcerer I'm playing in a campaign right now: https://imgur.com/a/nWBiB1v
His name is Ooumluumthrik, or just Luum for short! He was originally a draconic bloodline dragonborn sorcerer who was a commander for a guild that helped to secure and expand the frontiers in The Sword Coast. His adventures in the guild eventually led to him becoming an illithid. He served an elder brain for a few decades before the arcane energy in his draconic blood was reignited by an unknown draconic spirit (who would eventually be revealed to be the father of one of the other PCs!), shielding him from the elder brain's dominance.
With the help of his former guild commanders, they struck down the colony. He then sailed across the seas to the continent of Goremar (our party's homebrew continent), where he's been studying the nature of why some tadpole hosts become ulitharids. He believes that by understanding that nature, he can harness the same processes to empower himself and ascend to a status similar to or like a ulitharid. Gaining this status is important to his plans to begin a crusade and revolt against the elder brains and free his fellow illithids from their control. Being a ulitharid or similar would give him legitimacy in his revolt.
Currently in the campaign I'm playing him in, he is nearly always using Alter Self to disguise himself as he appeared as a dragonborn. Many in the party know his true identity as he has grown to trust them, but he still has to be very careful with that secret. He's working with the party to prevent the resurrection of a giant tyrant and subsequent civil war that would erupt. His reason for accompanying the party is that he's found concerning implications about illithid activity on the continent and that he feels he must investigate and needs the backup to do so.
Personality wise, he's a pragmatic, methodical, but understanding person. While his decades as an illithid have undoubtedly bred some arrogance in himself, he very much so still resembles who he was as a dragonborn: loyal, thoughtful, and cheeky as all hell. Super sorry if that's more than a bit of info on him, I love talking about the lad 😅

I think my best bet here would be my boi Sam : https://www.furaffinity.net/view/51561349/
Unfortunately he's not a D&D character, just a tabletop OC that I used for around 5 years in multiple campaigns in different timeline and universes ! Each version of him follows roughly the same template (with one exception) but all versions have their own quircks, so here's the baseline of a Sam :
-First and foremost he's a bastard son of the youngest daughter of an influencial aristocrat and a mercenary captain. As usual with this kind of forbiden love, the affair was kept under wrap to avoid a scandal and his mother was coerced by her own father to relinquish him while offering a hefty sum to his daughter's lover to keep the child away from public eyes.
-Although he would spent his early childhood on the roads alongside his father. Sam would eventually be reunited with his mother a few years later right after his parent tricked his grandfather to approve their union. This would be the start of a shared hatred between the old man and his grandson.
-After that, Sam finally got to enjoy a stable, if recluse, life, spending most of his time indoor. The rest of his childhood and teenage years was spent on learning magic from his mother as well as becoming the apprentice of a respected scholar.
-Unfortunatly for him, right as he stepped into adulthood, war came, while the details, duration and intensity of the conflict would vary depending on each iteration's case. The conflict would still mentally scar him in the end, and although the severity of these wounds would vary, he would always remain a conscripted, barely trained youth thown into the meat-grinder at the end of the day. By some kind of miracle though, he would always somehow crawl out of the conflict in one piece, though only on the surface.
From this baseline I took him in all kind of different directions depending on the timelines where I played him. Some were stranger than others, but at the end of the day, he's still Sam. Not only a serious, pragmatic, level-headed yet passionate in duty nerd with unexpected confidence that talks way too much, but also a powerful aquamancer that enjoys fish beyond reason and a clueless dork to a lot of social cues.
