In a future reality where technology and science has advanced at a sky-rocketing pace, the impossible has become possible.
Giant neon lit buildings taller than the Empire State Building now dwarf the surrounding landscape with their vibrancy, alluring would-be customers into their luxury apartments and store-fronts. Hover cars are now fast becoming more of a common mode of transport for citizens rather than just used for military purposes, using CO2 as a source of self-sustaining energy they convert emissions into pure oxygen , AI Androids and robots now work the vast majority of jobs while the populace enjoy gorging themselves in life's pleasures.
Whereas breakthroughs in medical science have created cures for most diseases in the form of all-for-one vaccines, cybernetic body augmentations and implants for those wanting to re-define themselves, serums that for a hefty price (or through shady military experiments) grant super-human powers to those injected or turns them into giant-stompy nigh unstoppable masses of destruction. Is this the work of a military experiment gone wrong or the secret plan of a jealous neighboring nation?
