10 min speedpaint...starting to get back into artsy stuff again
so, this is my HTTYD Deadly Nadder, named Jorun. She's for mine and a friend's rp
"Hours later, she was awakened by a disgruntled.....dragon? It lay curled in the corner, glaring at her and hissing menacingly. Renamon glared back, holding the still sleeping Shinx close to her body. Eva sat up, and her movements turned the hisses into snarls as the glowering eyes squinted. Eva could smell the creature’s strongly acrid blood, and instantly she knew why it glared. It was being defensive, as a cornered predator would be.
“It’s ok..i wont hurt you,” she crooned softly to the beast. She shifted ever so slightly closer and it tried shifting back. As it put weight on one of its limbs, it let out a growling yelp and collapsed against the wall.
“Eeevvaaaa!” She could hear other students and teachers calling her name, and she knew she would be in trouble for both sneaking out in the middle of the night and skipping class. But she didn’t care. She needed to concentrate.
She moved closer again and the beast’s growl was accompanied by a whoosh as poisoned darts streaked by her face. She knew they were just warnings, as the beast could hit her without even trying. Setting her shoulders, she raised her hands and sent a quick bolt of healing energies towards it. It was startled for a second, but after a few seconds it relaxed.
