Greys don't go to war often, but when they do, they often use psychically trained specialists who attack the enemy's mind, twisting their perception with illusions, inflicting psychological damage or sometimes even boiling their brains from the inside. They can also be used for transmitting messages across large distances without using technological means or to spy on a target remotely. The innate psychic potential of the Greys makes training such combatants not particularly difficult. Psychics on the battlefield are usually kept at a safe distance and equipped with suits of light but durable polymers and helmets with psychic amplifiers, as well as a light backup weapon.
