NOTE: I am currently using Patreon primarily as a tip jar. If this is not your preference, I will not begrudge you leaving or abstaining and I thank everyone for any support you may have given. I will no longer be offering mentorships or tutoring either. I will still do redlining and paintovers on request for Patrons. Additionally, Patrons will still be eligible for discounts on YCHs and adopts. 10% off for T1, 20% off for T2, and 30% off for T3.

Don't ask me why I randomly decided to go so hard on an arse tutorial of all things (pun absolutely intended fite me). I don't heckin know. Maybe I just really needed a break from work and I had butts on the brain. :P Well, that and I wanted an excuse to practice some line art and cell shading. I am hoping to cultivate a good graphic novel style and it does NOT come naturally so there's really no way forward except practice. And here it is. Bask in the glory of my horrible, noobile line art and cell shading.
I absolutely welcome any pointers or resources pertaining to the topic of line art and cell shading. By all means, bring it. I barely have any idea WTF I'm doing. I swear, it was like pulling teeth. Painting this was harder than the usual stuff I put out. I did have fun though and I do feel like I've improved a bit, especially towards the end of this ridiculous trilogy. I'm finally starting to get the concepts of line weight and shape language into my thick skull... somewhat... so there's that at least.
Anyhow, enjoy.

I see your butt peaches and raise you this aubergine: https://www.hornoxe.com/wp-content/.....ump889_108.jpg Safe for the pan, I guess)
Nothing wrong with butts. They can be a beautiful thing!
I've been focusing on them myself; often enhancing some on my characters. I still hope to get into 3D. I've been getting really slow on hand drawing and coloring.
I think it's time to go 3D and maybe even animate some butts.
I do love the choice of black/ dark gray against the brown and white fur. Very classy.
