And so, the two touched the crystal at the exact same time as per the Dolliv's request, feeling a slight tingle on their bodies. It was easy to not think much of it, just let the crystal do its thing. Though unbeknownst to the duo, a special effect had been activated…
They didn't notice and chatted as the crystal levitated and emitted weird wispy, tiny waves, but Graham seemed less than impressed. Roxy in her typical playful tone tried to cheer them up, but his attention had moved away from the crystal and suddenly towards his own lower body.
His sugary brown fur looked faded in places. Odd? Had he really not noticed that before? He didn't think much of it, unaware that his body was changing significantly just yet as his legs began to slim, tail grew, ears pointed up and a sparkling, azure blue gem on his forehead had surfaced.
Roxy on the other hand? Her typically slender legs were thickening and dark purple markings had surfaced on her forepaws. The moment she noticed this, her typically non-serious, playful demeanour had quickly vanished as a look of pure fear appeared on the Espeon's face. She wasn't even fully aware her tail and ears were also shifting, the former losing it's iconic forked look, shifting into a new shape. Her ears would lose their sharpness, rounding out significantly. Not to mention Roxy's lower half was being rapidly consumed by ash grey fur.
Worried, the changing Espeon told her friend that something was wrong, noticing that her voice was also deepening and began to shrink. Graham was confused at first, but upon closer inspection he noticed that more of his brown fur had faded, but not only that, it seemed to be fading in real-time. His forepaw markings were almost completely gone too and his vision seemed to be further from the ground than normal. Wait a second… Was he getting bigger?
A lever was pulled in Graham's head and had finally registered what was going on. This crystal was changing himself, and Roxy. He yelled, cringing slightly as his voice had gotten higher in pitch.
It was complete chaos as the two were way over halfway done with the changes, with Roxy watching her gem sink away into her forehead. Sne tried to use her magic to keep it in place but to no avail, as she felt her power stripped away and replaced with… electricity? Wait… The circular flattish ears, the star shaped tail, the forepaw markings. Was she turning into a Shinx? Upon closer inspection on her body she concluded she must've been. But wait, if she was becoming a Shinx that must've meant Graham is...becoming an Espeon. The crystal was swapping them!
Graham had felt his electricity withdraw within him, with more stranger psychic power taking over in it's place. It did admittedly feel sensational, but the almost complete Espeon went back to a terrified expression as he noticed he and his teammate would be changing in more ways than one.
The almost complete Espeon cringed as his lower regions had flared up, feeling the loss of something while something else entirely bloomed in its place. On the opposite end however, her friend seemed to gain something...
Upon inspection, it dawned upon the duo fast and two were left in a completely embarrassed and timid state. Thankfully as the two blinked and felt slight changes in their sight, the changes had finally subsided. Graham now an Espeon and Roxy a Shinx.
The two were too stunned to utter a single word, with Roxy quickly looking away from Graham as he was too nervous to dare look at what Graham had became after basically snatching her body from her. He was so small too...
Graham on the other hand felt bad to see Roxy like this, feeling slightly dazed over the situation. It felt weird holding all this psychic energy and being the taller one for a change. She'd been transformed a lot before and the whole female thing while embarrassing wasn't even anything new to her, but she knew that this was definitely a unique situation…
Though one thing was for certain, Maya had somehow pulled a successful TF prank on them…
