Ah thankee. Lighting is everything. Without it, you got crap. I had a flash today about why almost all pics you see are crap. Best time for people is mid-afternoon. Ahhh, nice! Guess what... it's the WORST time for light. You need it at most 30 degrees or so. The hour before sunset is best.
