What would you do if I sent on a quest...
But not just any quest- a quest to slay demons? You know, the "evil entities" sent to destroy the world-
You could use any power, magic, spells, and weapons within your inventory or skillset. Pots and flasks are not only allowed, but encouraged for your survival.
Armor of your choosing- cloth, mail, or plate. Or if you want to be a "normy," regular clothes are fine; who are we to judge how you complete the task?
Your time limit to complete this quest: none.
However you have to kill them before they overtake or kill you.
Your reward? Defeating them will grant you endless piles of gold and riches, and if you are lucky? A legendary.
The catch? Silly mortal, of course there's a catch-
The demons lay within YOU. They are a manifestation of all your fears, anger, rage, and anguish built up throughout your life. The more pain you suffered throughout your life, the more difficult the demons will be to defeat.
They know all your strengths and weaknesses, and will use them to their advantage to try to manipulate you and break you...
This quest is optional, and certainly not for the weak or weak minded. But the rewards will be oh so worth it. Especially if you can overcome the most difficult demons.
Question is, "Are you up for the challenge, mortal?"
A shadowy figure stared Whisper down, merely smirking in her presence. They KNEW what her response was going to be, it was just a matter of her uttering those words, giving them permission to proceed.
She nodded, and pulled out her blade, as the figure moved aside and ushered her through a portal.
"I...will never give in."
Don't mind me, I have been playing way too many MMOs.
Whisper is off to ascend into the deep, dark pits of hell, aka, her mind, to take out said evil. Let's hope she survives...
