:x I've been a long time quiet-bean and finally decided to sit down and not be quiet, embrace my inner Furry. So this is a reference sheet for my fursona, Lyre (pronounced Lear, not Liar).

I wanted to design him like old platformer characters, so he's designed in that vein. However, he's an adult, and I'll probably draw him all serious proportioned one of these days. The concept behind him is that he's a 'Celestial Shepherd', a type of magic guardian who hunts down fallen stars and returns them to the sky when they get lost ( ... And the stars are sheep, because we go all in or bust). In reality, he's just an apprentice, as it takes a very long time for someone to actually become a true shepherd. It's a relatively lonely, solitary life that switches between being stationary or travel in extreme measures, but he's rather passionate about taking care of his magic sheep and his responsibilities as essentially a demi-god.

He carries a lantern on a stick that is used to help guide the star sheep home, and also is a nifty light to read by --- his other past time.
