Salamander King is an antagonist character in Dobutsu serving as a boss. He is the ruler of the Salamander Kingdom that has allied with Hori's Kingdom. After the Great Amphibian War, he and his people were exciled from the Amphibian Kingdom. Salamander King devised a plan to destoy the Frog Kingdom by poisoning their water with the poisonous ooze that his people can secrete from their bodies. He even used his own poison ooze to transform into a giant monster made from it, and terrorized the Frogs. As poisonous as his skin, Salamander King has no qualms in doing anything to get what he wants. He is also quite spitful and remorseless, willing to commit genoside on an entire Kingdom if he believes he's done wrong.
