Context:

For the people who aren’t advocates for a soft tummy, then um… well that sucks for you lmao. But for some silly reason, getting scratched (lightly) or otherwise touched on my belly has been a big issue for me for a long time. I come from a home where being ‘thin’ was basically drilled in to the point i would just— well, not eat sometimes. Beyond that I had so many sporting obligations and a mother who pressed the point that “If i didn’t do it i’d end up like her”.

Now clearly I have no issue with anyone else’s bodytype but it’s led me to perceive my own harshly. My lovely partner has made this flip on it’s head, and honestly not even on purpose. I still have my issues but something we do when cuddling is he’ll trace lil scratches etc on my limbs or back or belly. And it just kinda became a normal thing to have ‘tummy time’ where I just get touched around my belly.

This is a bit personal, I know, but i kinda don’t give a fuck anymore. So there you have it.
