The branch off adventures of the reality warping Chaos Emerald continues as we get a prequel to a prior commission, showing how Ash managed to get the Emerald for Mina's concert.

It seems the power of the Emerald is growing as not only is it altering the dress code now, it's also altering reality itself, creating a new Magic Circle for the Kingdom and bringing in characters from all kinds of different Sonic the Hedgehog franchises into one place.
Looks like we can also see limitations to the Emerald as well. Maeve at the end seems to be unaffected by the Emerald, besides her memories, so it seems that the more human the character is, the less effect it will have on you. Sorry guys, but looks like there won't be any humans getting modified due to the emerald (looks at Robotnik and sighs in relief) XD
