An old (yet still accurate) model sheet of Kappa, my sleek Mako character. He was named after the Japanese Kappa (which is one of my favourite mythological beings), but it's also a nod to the Hungarian word for shark, which is cápa.

He became somewhat of an outlet for my love of sharks (which basically plays out like this: Culpeo reads something interesting about sharks and/or an ocean critter. Culpeo draws it, throws the Mako in there and adds some fancy blurb to make it look cool and deep. And if that doesn't happen, then there is a certain Leopard Seal gal spotted around, usually taking the piss out of the guy)
