Big (and Little) Cat Dinner [Commission]
I got this commission from the wonderful

I’m really happy with how this turned out! I’ve been enjoying getting art that shows my three main sonas interacting with each other. As parts of “me” seeing how they interplay with each other is really fun for me.
I wrote a lil story to go along with it too!

“It’s good I put your red shirt on you, kitten. It’ll be hard to see any sauce stains. Just be careful not to slip and fall into the plate.”
Sieg flushed, pushing his knees together and flitting his eyes between the tiger and his lap. His partner was so protective! He could hardly eat his dinner without the tiger fussing over him. It was just spaghetti! “Yorick’s always been protective of you,” the tiny voice in his head said. Sieg smiled softly. Yeah, that’s it. Yorick just wanted to make sure Sieg was being careful.
It had absolutely nothing to do with the fact he was currently only 6” tall and struggling to fit a chunk of noodle dripping with chunky sauce in his mouth.
Things had been good for Sieg since the tiger had come into his life. Yorick had a way of woo-ing him, and their lives clicked together surprisingly well. Yeah, Sieg had on more than one occasion had to break up a squabble between Yorick and his other partner Gryn. But the two tigers got along well enough and would put aside their differences for their “little” lion—a nickname that brought a blush to the normally 6-foot-tall lion.
He did spend a lot of time with his partners shrunken down somewhere between 3-12”, so the name fit. But it wasn’t dignified for him at his full height! Not to mention, he shouldn’t have been Yorick’s “little lion” tonight. He was supposed to be big, sitting in a normal chair opposite the tiger at this romantic dinner for two!
Normally Yorick was almost a foot shorter than Sieg, leaving the lion typically looking ever so slightly downwards to make eye contact. But now? Now he was half a foot tall sitting on a doll house chair that Yorick had brought from home. The glass that would hold his water had been replaced with a thimble, and he was using the lid of a small jar as his plate holding an inch of spaghetti at a time.
He sighed, clearing the thoughts of what should have been from his head. After all, he could have had it worse. He could be in Gryn’s position.
Sieg took a bite, accidentally splattering sauce onto his snowy fur and covering his glasses in red. Far above him, Yorick let out a soft chuckle. Sieg cleared his throat, the coughs squeaky at his reduced size. “Uhm… Yori, can I get a little help?”
~~
Yorick smiled, picking up his napkin by the corner as he rested his fork on the dinner plate. “Sure thing. Hold still,” he said, his voice calm and confident. He watched his tiny boyfriend squirm as the large napkin approached. He chuckled internally as his protective instincts took over. He couldn’t help embarrassing his boyfriend a bit more.
It was as simple as a couple gentle dabs of the napkin. When the professor pulled the slightly-dirtied cloth back from his date’s face, the white lion’s face still looked slightly red. “Did I miss a spot? Let me try again,” teased Yorick, bringing back the napkin.
Sieg shot one arm up in protest while the other remained in his lap, his voice frantic. “No no! I’m good. Thank you, Yori.”
Yorick blinked at the lion’s outburst, shocked that his often meek date was being so assertive. At least, he was shocked until he noticed the lion’s legs shifting and the lion trying to force something down in his lap.
“Oh my,” thought the tiger, his lips curving up in a smirk.
He set the napkin down and moved his fingers closer to his boyfriend to bestow some careful pats on the little lion’s head. Each tap reminded the lion that his whole head was smaller than his boyfriend’s finger pad, and Yorick relished in that.
“Yori, stop!” The lion protested, blushing furiously as his big-short-boyfriend messed up his mane.
Yorick smiled softly at his boyfriend, the mischievous smirk dying down. Instead of continuing, he pulled his hand back and resumed his eating with the occasional glance at the lion. He wanted to give his micro room to breathe and recover. After all, this was Sieg. Not one of his students in need of a stern hand, but the one lion who he couldn’t help but soften for and dote on.
After all, when he was with Sieg, he was simply “Yori”.
~~
Gryn lay pinned on the floor, his bare body stuck between the cold, hard tile and the warm, squishy foot above him. He couldn’t do much as his body was twisted back and forth with Yorick’s grinding motions.
“Yori, Yori, Yori.”
Gryn gagged from the combination of mushiness up above and the heady smell of the tiger’s paw musk.
Sure, Gryn knew he kind of deserved where he was, but it had been an honest mistake! He mixed up the date and instead of it being his night to spend with Sieg, it was Yorick’s. Unfortunately, he’d already shrank the lion, and the bots that controlled the lion’s size needed time to recharge. Four hours to be precise.
Sieg had cried out for Yorick—“Yori” as Sieg had taken to calling their mutual boyfriend—summoning the concerned professor into the lion’s room. Gryn was frozen in fear when he saw the worry for the lion turn to barely suppressed rage directed his way. Gryn calling the professor “Yori” certainly hadn’t helped like he’d hoped.
“Yori” was just for Sieg.
Gryn winced, holding the tiny, naked lion in his hand while Yorick railed on about how Gryn should’ve known it was Yorick’s night. How Yorick had reservations for with Sieg tonight. How he was still going to take his handsome little lion out, but that Gryn needed to learn his lesson. How Gryn was certainly looking and acting a bit too “big” for his liking. It wasn’t until the tiger’s phone was already in his hand that Gryn realized exactly what punishment headed his way.
Gryn was halfway to the floor, his clothes sagging on his body, before he could even move to stop it.
That had been an hour ago. Yorick had swiftly slipped his loafer off, the professor not having bothered to change from his comfy slacks and sweater he had worn to work. He also had neglected to change his sheers, the socks soaked through from a day of lectures. Giant toes had lifted him up before depositing him in the loafer and sliding back in. Gryn only caught tidbits here and there as the tiger dressed the lion in doll clothes and swiftly took him to the car.
Gryn had endured being pressed into the gas pedal, walking downtown for gods only know how long, and finally being plucked out and deposited on the floor, hidden out of sight by the long table cloth.
Far above him, his boyfriends teased and flirted with each other, Gryn forced to endure the double onslaught of a massive foot and the sappiness of the words drifting down to him. Gryn wiggled to try and get free, only to end up pinned fully by the foot.
Yorick’s toes gently pet the shrunken saber, smearing sweaty cotton on his face. Gryn at least could enjoy that a bit he supposed. He grumbled, trying to shift about to get a bit more comfortable under paw. He listened to the conversation above him, eavesdropping on words not quite meant for his ears. After all this was his boyfriends’ date night.
And then he got the feeling the tiger wasn’t only talking to the lion.
”You,” the voice boomed as the big toe moved to poke Gryn, “make me so happy.”
Gryn leaned up and gave the toes a small kiss, feeling himself blush. Yorick didn’t say that to him all that often, and frankly Gryn wasn’t quite sure it was meant for him.
The toes gently patted his head once more, and Gryn knew for sure his big professor cared. He was lucky to have his partners.

There's a lot I love about this.
First of all, mixed-size dates are incredible. I love how easy the teasing comes, and I appreciate that Sieg wasn't expecting it.
I like the general descriptions from Sieg's end too: how cumbersome the noodles are, how easy it is to make a mess, and how small he feels.
I really like that multiple characters were shrunk as well. It's not something I see nearly enough of. It's extra savory since Gryn kind of brought it on himself. Seems very appropriate that the punishment for shrinking is being shrunk. Adored the shot of his clothes falling off as well as Sieg getting dressed in doll clothes. It’s nice seeing that they do this enough to be prepared for smaller sizes.
And I do like that Yorick is so gentle when he teases Sieg. It's nice seeing him be the big cat in the scenario when he's usually shorter, and I love him calling Seig a little kitten.
Top marks all around.

Ahh thank you! I’m glad you love it :3
I really love the idea that my big cat sonas go on mix-sized dates. I really need to write down my canon for them but like… Sieg spends the most time shrunken. In fact sometimes he goes on dates at a reduced size so Yorick invested in a set of doll clothes and some tiny doll house furniture for him. He has a nice dynamic of more horny teasing with Gryn and then doting from Yorick.
Gryn definitely gets shrunken down by Yorick fairly often, usually when the saber is being a nuisance. So it’s only fitting that he knows what’s coming when he acts up.
Yorick is the only one who strictly won’t shrink. He’s too used to being short that he levels the playing field by making them shorter. But he has a much softer dynamic with tiny Sieg that he just can’t quite explain. He just HAS to dote on his little kitten.
Over all I’m really happy with how this turned out and really want more slice of life stuff with my sonas at mixed sizes.
