As mankind fades into retirement, the world goes on without them, and so do their children left behind. Now all that is left is their warden, looming over the landscape like a tyrannical god.
This is a piece set in the same universe as this previous illustration. I'll probably throw it in a folder if I get around to making more pieces set in this setting.
I loved making this one. I finally got to use textured brushes! I got used to only using one brush, but I decided to try and use the many that I have, and now I get it. It turns out that textures are a shortcut to getting texture in a painting! Who would've thought? Now I don't have to zoom in to give everything texture manually! I was fully expecting this to be a 10 hour project, but it took me only 5 hours to complete! I can't believe I didn't do this earlier.
