"While Matentines can be a lot of fun, Torpor had never cared much for the actual 'Game of Courtship' and hadn't really spent any effort into learning it. But for Kuwento, he was willing to try. It was her first year in Burrowgatory, and he wanted to make sure all of her future memories were happy ones. He didn't know what flowers to get, only that her favorite colors were purple and red. The Florist suggested white as a complimentary color and he just bought out every flower in those three colors and hoped for the best.
