This lovely commission was a collaboration between myself and Tighe Bodalla, featuring Mizu and their handsome River Almudron, Ikarah, drawn by none other than  Ars! Just in time for Valentine's Day too; what better day would there be for love? Definitely none for these two precious noodles!

The two Leviathans had known each other for a while now, the Almudron sometimes taking a few moments out of his journey through the streams of the Misty Peaks to meet up and talk with his female Mizutsune friend. As time had gone by, they grew ever closer, becoming very close friends by a few years. With how far apart their meetings tended to be, they always loved making the most of them, and Ikarah tried to find more time to stay with her more often for longer. Eventually he'd stay nights with her, enjoying each other's company and being there for each other, whether in the den or out adventuring. As he was about to leave one night, Mizu wanted to give him a sweet send off as thanks for his friendship. She pressed her head to his, a tender show of affection to him as she gave him thanks. He hadn't expected such a loving reaction from her, and he was not at all used to receiving such affection, so he was a little shocked; but nonetheless he savored the love and showed the gesture back, touching his head with hers. Their shared gesture strengthened their love and friendship, not just for Valentine's Day, but for years to come. It was only the beginning, shall I say!
