Continuing their casual mid-battle conversation, Zenchi places a hand on her hip as she ponders, “Hmm, same here now that you mention it. Well, aside from Queen Lapis, and her Blue Flame powers.” ‘Tis unknown how many of the Gifted exist throughout The Lands, if there are any more at all. Zenchi recalls her experiences, “To be honest, I've no memory of how or where I got this power, but it's done so much for me I can't really complain.” The coyote stretches and holds her arms behind her back while she adds to the mystery, “Yeahhh...I'm not sure what I did to earn my powers either. But, I wonder if there are any more out there like us? Surely you, Queen Lapis, and I can't be the only ones with these crazy magical superpowers, right?” Bringing a close to the topic, Zenchi gives her final thoughts on the matter, “I've thought about it too, but I'll believe it when I see it. Let's just count ourselves ‘lucky’ for now.” The mystery surrounding the Gifted is simply out of their knowledge at this point. Neither Zenchi nor Ithaca have enough information available. In truth, no one does. Where, who, or what granted them their unique powers would have to be answered another time. For now, the only option is acceptance, rather than inquiry.



Ready to continue their early morning training session, the two cross blades. Eager to get back into the swing, Ithaca beckons, “Heh, fair enough I suppose, now where were we?” Not willing to be outdone, Zenchi gets in a jab of her own, “Oh yeah, you were bragging about that little toothpick of a sword. Now, no Magic. no tricks, just an honest duel.”
