Oh Where did you get the textures and brushes?

The splatter effect is from a collection of splatter texture I found somewhere on Deviantart. I isolated a certain blotch and made a "brush texture". I'll scan some new blotches made with real ink next time for variety, as I like this effect very much.

The paper texture is the one that I prefer the most and the one I used for the arm part and the background. I just scanned a regular piece of paper because I find the paper effect is more subtle than with expensive paper and I kinda prefer that. Just try to scan a greyer or not 100% white paper or the scanner with pick a lot of dirt and inconsistencies in the texture; then make a somewhat seamless 512x512 texture that Sai (in this case) recognizes.

hmm, reminds me that I need to try out some of my other brushtools as well.
