While waiting for the princess to arrive, Ydia the chanting goshawk bard tells about her peculiar necklace compass. Instead of north this compass points at The Storm Island and the forever raging and still standing magical tornado located there, the source of all the magic in Karamador. We learn some more lore too and it also turns out that Ydia is a descendant of notable adventurers and historians. Ydia has a dream to do or document something great too, which explains why she so eagery wanted to be Sir Kiljaos's herald.
