There were rumors in one small town where M'Ria and her mate were staying this time. Rumors about ancient ruins located half a day's journey away. Rumors about strange sounds, shrieks, groans and screams coming from barely preserved, once majestic buildings. And rumors about people, who came there to investigate and never returned. That was interesting. It could be an ancient curse or a protection system, dispelling which they could obtain some artifact, or some kind of chimera from which valuable materials can be obtained. So they decided to check this out. Having arrived at the place, they decided to split up and check out the surroundings, then gather again in front of the entrance. Drawing her mithril sword, M'Ria was carefully but confidently examined the area for oddities when she noticed that she was being watched...
