A redesign of a character from this earlier work
Tsapraka is a mostly benevolent mystical creature of unknown origin who lives in the woods together with his cultists and consorts. He doesn't remember where he came from, but all his early life he has spent in the wilderness, and was raised by a community of fairies, dancing and singing under the shade of trees. At some point, he encountered a man lost in the forest and starving, and the desperate stranger thought that Tsapraka was a god of that land and prayed to him for help, which the creature provided. Eventually, more people learned about his existence and that gave rise to a cult centered around him. Tsapraka has a hard time understanding some of the actions and thought processes of mortals, so he doesn't really know why they worship him, but doesn't discourage it and provides his followers with assistance, protection and guidance in exchange for their devotion.
Tsapraka is very fond of nature and the "music of the wild places" and thus encourages his followers to appreciate and preserve natural environment, as well as enjoy the fruits of life while giving something in return to cultivate it's growth. This might be a consequence of the fairy upbringing, which might also be a reason why he sometimes seems to think, speak or act in ways some would consider odd or eccentric. Though he has some sort of nature- and pleasure-centered morality, it's hard to define what exactly his goals are or what other virtues he adheres to. Though mostly peaceful, he is known to sometimes display disturbing capacity for violence and brutality, especially if he or his followers are being threatened. Due to that, some have speculated about his possible link to Lesoroga, but Tsapraka himself can neither confirm nor deny such kinship. He has been known, however, to have connections to the denizens of Hell, who sometimes collaborate with him in attempts to resist industrial destruction of the wilderness. He often compares various things to tones or music and appears to view some of them less harmonious than others and tries to separate or "silence" them.
Though it is unknown if he is truly capable of experiencing love the same way mortals do (though his followers believe so), he has several consorts towards whom he displays noticeable attachment and care, and with whom he upholds something of a polyamorous open relationship. Such relationships are also accepted within the ranks of his cult. As for other emotions, Tsapraka may often seem distant and hard to read, but is prone to occasional bursts of excitement when encountering the simplest most mundane things like seeing a caterpillar on the ground or a peculiar shape of a tree.
Overall, Tsapraka and his followers are relatively harmless for the wider society unless the farming and industry expansion of said society don't get too ravenous and disruptive. In that case, the cultists and their sorcerous overlord can become anything ranging from minor obstructive nuisance to violent guerilla resistance to a wild horde of humans, beastfolk and the spawn of Hell emerging from the woods to tear down the walls of nearby cities and rip their guards and governors to shreds in a grand display of mushroom-fuelled frenzy before disappearing into the shadows of the trees once more to sing and revel with the bloodthirsty fairies.
