It's Mokore again, and it looks like he's seeing something that makes him cringe.
Even with his ridiculously large chalice of alcohol, it's not enough to not make him notice.
A little more backstory about him:
The old centuries were filled with strife and unsurety, even for the elites. Prolonged merrymaking, especially with alcohol, was prohibited and punishable by death. Mokore was no exception to this rule, in fact, he
hated the many rules going against the joys of the flesh in excess, so he kept living life to the fullest and as if it was his last day. Soon, it would seem that day would come...
A disease befell the then young adult and his lover, of whom perished not long after. Bringing the affliction to his lands, he exiled himself before anyone could apprehend him and send him to his death.
He fled into a foreboding forest, teeming with power distorting the many trees there. With nowhere else to go and his declining health from the disease, he took the gamble to go in further. For hours,
he fruitlessly delved into the warped woods. When hope seemed diminished, he stumbled upon a fount of great power, the heart that beate the strange power feeding the forest.
When he came in contact with it, a bright light engulfed him, filling his mind with knowledge of great technologies, of great possibilities and arcane power. However, some of that knowledge broke his psyche,
as it conflicted with the history and mythology of his people, that there was only his civilization and land mass, that there were no other people beyond the seas. With his newfound power, he altered himself,
ridding himself of disease and mortality. Not content with long life, he wondered if he could make it so his vices and hedonistic lifestyle had no negative effects on him. And with the power, it became so.
Something else entered his mind: instead of changing according to rules and morality, why not change reality to according to his will? And it would be so...
He would soon return to his people, and usher in a new golden age of prosperity--after he dealt with their old belief systems and traditions...
