When I first got him as a design, a present from my sister, I was so so so sooo in love with this dapper kitty, I instantly had a personality in mind for him, and a story, and he made me so happy.
This artwork feels like it brought that idea to life better than I ever have in my own art, like it's so perfectly him ! That thoughtful and distant vibe he gives off, a hard to decipher man with a quiet life aaaaghhhh I just... I love this so much!!!! It has the exact essence of his character I so deeply adore! The warm sunlight through the windows is so well drawn it feels tangible across the screen! The gorgeous highlight and shading color contrast is absolutely stunning, and the touches of blur or texturing on the outskirts of some of the highlights in more gently-sloping curves is such a wonderful detail! I love the folds of his sweater, the rims of his glasses and the way the bridge of his nose slightly obscures one side for the perfect sense of 3D depth! And aaghhh gosh his delicate hand, the perfect thinking pose! I really enjoy how you draw hands, if I haven't mentioned that! Your anatomy skills are amazing!!!! aaahhh I tremendously enjoy the way you've drawn his hair, that little bend on the bangs and swoosh to the side! So lovely!!!! I think my favorite part is the eyes, though I love how you draw eyes in every artwork to be honest, there's something so rich and mesmerizing about how you draw them, and always pick the perfect shading colors to compliment and bring out the hue just right!! The lighting and pose and emotions of this artwork I really really love, thank you for yet another gorgeous artwork!! >w<
