"Mostly At Night ... Mostly."
Muse is a fickle, weird girl some times. The comments on http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5545031 included something about Ripley (Aliens) and "9", and how it was dark, and sad, and during the stream someone mentioned the "Dark Rangers" (I've seen some artwork), so I got dragged off into post-apocalypse-land, one of my favorite places to play. Let's see who figures out what I did here, all the implied tragedy and DRAMA.
Damn, it was fun designing that spring-powered arbalest!
"Mommy, am I gonna die?"
"Oh, no, baby, no. You're not going to die. They are." (The Long Kiss Goodnight)

Well, outright, that's Chip's kid--hat, bracelet, and I'd go so far as to say colouration.
Gadget looks be ex-military? Doesn't look like any tag I've seen or could find. Could almost be Colonial Marine, but that would just be silly.
Interesting crank-action rifle. Almost crossbow-like!

Correct on all points in regards to the young mouse (Disney Genetics says children are the same species as their same-gender parent)
The tags are approximately US tags, with rubber silencers. The "serial number" is the production number off of Gadget's original model-sheet (how's that for geeky?). I didn't include middle-name, blood-type or religion for obvious reasons - couldn't think of anything that was amusing or made sense.
The "crank action rifle" is, in fact, closer to a crossbow - instead of a bow it's using a traction coil-spring that's inset into the stock, the crank on the side is a built-in cocking mechanism. I was trying to keep with the sort-of "found items" feel of Gadget's inventions from the show, with slightly more advanced designs.
