Terror From Beneath Erebus [comm]

"The part I see is remarkably anthropoid. In a way, it's almost handsome."
"I'm sorry, Primaeros, what did you just say?"
"Nothing. Hurry up with the plasma borers, guys. Please."
You people can't make me eat squid and like it. Never. Don't bother trying.
Some time ago,
pyurio suggested a story of Adam and team drilling into geostrata/permafrost and finding OHLORDTERROR underneath. I managed to scribble a loose outline for it, would like to get back and work on it as soon as things get less crazy on the work/study side of things.
"Erebus, planet of silent ice and stone, is also home to rich deposits of psi-amp crystals. Something unearthed from beneath its glacial surface had driven the workers of a mining outpost to panic and murderous insanity. The Empire, ever unwilling to forsake precious resources, sends a team of field scientists to unravel the mystery of what emerged from the dark depths of Erebus. Perhaps the frozen planet was not as lifeless as previously thought, after all."
