the saddest part in their relationship that Ari (the blondie) is an immortal dragon and her beloved spouse is just a half mermaid who eventually became old and passed away. when it happened Ari lost her control and couldn't maintain her human form anymore. she hid somewhere in snowy mountains and fell into a deep sleep where she could spend all the time with her lover's soul which was trapped inside the pearl Ari kept with her, the actual mermaid's heart (｡•́︿•̀｡)
it took a quite long time for their daughter to find her silly mom and bonk forcefully wake her up
