Another fractal piece.

As a small explination...

Fractal art is based on a system of non-Euclidean geometry. A style of mathematics that was constructed with the precise purpose of finding a mathematically qunaitifiable means with which nature forms objects.

Rather than using the very baic Euclidean geometric models fractal math bases itself on miniscule units.

Fractal art developed as computers were begining to compute fractal math visually. When the math was graphed and displayed it would have unique imagery. Most noteably the Julia Fractal or basic Spiral. Soon programs would develope in which a computer would use predefined series of fractal equations to create random generative works. As an artist one modifies the created image with "transforms" and variables.

As the art advanced artist have developed programs and methods that allow them to write their own imensely complex equations visually, starting from scratch.


It's amazing the thigns that a computer sees.
