Yeah. Old vacuums had a handle on the main body to carry it around and the hose was mostly a long stiff metal pole with the hose going in which allowed for some movement. Googling old fashion vacuums, you'll see what I mean in the images section. Removed some parts and change some things to allow for more character movement.
