Another entry into my take of the Wizard of Oz and it may take some influence from Wicked for this one
"Tin Woodman"
"Nick Chopper"
Bio:
Originally was once a normal woodman named "Nick Chopper" he developed feelings for a munchkin named "Nimmie Amee" who was a servant for the Wicked Witch of the East, as the two developed feelings for each other complete with plans to run away together and begin a happy life far from the grasp of The Witch of the East as the current situation of Munchkinland isn't looking too great as the Witch stripped the Munchkins of all their rights, but unbeknownst to them the Witch was eavesdropping and started plans to curse and enchant Nick's axe for every time he uses it to cut a tree it would bounce back and would lose a limb as a result and for each time that happened Nick decided to go to local tinsmith to replace each limb he lost with a new one made of tin but since that's not enough for the Witch she then takes a step further by cursing Nick by making his heart shrink until its all gone and as a desperate attempt to save his life The Tinsmith then fully turned him into a fully complete Tin Man which at first seems like a big win for him as now he doesn't have to worry to need sleep nor sustenance to survive but as an unfortunate side effect his heart is now gone as well his love for Nimmie was lost as well and in a way to blunt out the pain he then focused on his profession which is chopping wood until one rainy day he rusted still and now frozen in place.
a month went by as Dorothy, Toto and the Scarecrow on their journey decide to rest inside a house to stop by for the night where early in the morning they both find an interesting sight in the form of a man of tin, Scarecrow after discovering an oil can mistakenly thinking it as a weapon for defense, then Dorothy learns that said man of tin is trying to say something albeit muffled "Oil Can" which Scarecrow notices the thing in his hand where after freeing him and being no longer rusted he then thanks them but right before being shown to be somewhat a little bit on the antiscocial and grouch side of things but after some talking by Dorothy about what's going on and her current situation she's in as well to go see the Wizard, he then decides to join in their party to go and see the Wizard and in hopes to get a heart.
Along the way he would also help them be safe from threats too.
