I remember when I was growing up, around 2005-06, I was introduced to Soul Train when I came across a re-run from one of the earlier shows. I remember that the S.O.S. Band had made an appearance on the show, and I had listened to the band before, but it was my first time seeing them perform in a live setting. The atmosphere of that show was just amazing, and it still is to this day. Don Cornelius (God rest his soul) put in a lot of work and effort into making the show happen, and to see it for the first time in my life, it was well put together, and a fun and positive atmosphere. It looked to be an amazing experience for everyone involved.
This was a commission that I got a while ago from
Conqista which features Tycho as the host of the Soul Train. Around that time, I had not gotten any art of him, and seeing as how I always saw the otter as a musician dating back to my dreams of him, looking back, I think Tycho was a good pick for this commission. I'm very happy with how it turned out in the end.
Until next time: Love, Peace, and Soul!
