Smokey is on the left. He is the big ole salt and pepper miniature schnauzer I came to love all these many years. Sassy is the little white one. I'm not sure how she's coping without him yet, I'll have to ask. Here are some more pictures of my old baby, one on the way home from a vet checkup 2 months ago and the other two just him hanging out with his mate, Sassy.

I called my mom about 20 mins ago and she says she's doing alright, just sulking around a little but realtively happy whenever treats are presented.
I can remember when I walked into the shop to get a puppy. My parents wanted a yorkie that day but when I saw him I threw an outrageous tantrum for them to at least see him up close (and everyone was staring so they had no choice but to see him to shut me up). We went into the little stall and played with him. That's how my parents fell in love with him.

15 years old. He had lung cancer and it caused him to have heart palpitations. Last night it was so bad he stopped breathing and went into convulsions. Mom and dad decided last night it was time. He suffers no more now...
Sassy is also 15 but much healthier and young at heart.

awwwwwww he's so cute D|. Your worry about Sassy is my same worry with my cat... she lived almost eight years constantly with her sister (she had to be put down in Dec I think I posted about it) but so far she seems to be okay, I still worry a lot because they were together so much. *lots of hugs*
;-; *huuugs* I have a photo album of him as a pup and some pictures of young me with Smokey sitting on top of my back, not letting me off the couch. I also have somewhere a picture of him a few months ago laying protectively against the rocking swing that my daughter was sleeping in.
