Starting off this fun little side project which is my take on the Wizard of Oz is my version of Dorothy Gale herself

Bio:
to begin out this story we begin with.. to quote from the opening line of Baum's book "Dorothy lived in the midst of the great Kansas prairies, with Uncle Henry, who was a farmer, and Aunt Em, who was the farmer's wife." yeah Dorothy lives in Lyman, Kansas with her uncle and aunt as well her pet dog "Toto" at their farm as well caring for them, she does have some internal restless desires and wishes of wanting to explore new places and have a more exciting life. But fate would have arrived in the form of a cyclone hitting Kansas where during in the chaos as everyone tries to find cover, except Dorothy goes after her dog who went inside the farmhouse to be safe but ultimately the twister picks up the farmhouse carrying both of them to a strange weird magic land known as the Land of Oz.
She's then greeted by the folks of Munchkin Country who congratulate her for the death of the Wicked of the East whom her house landed upon, the Munchkins celebrate their recently dead ruler but the celebration is cut short as chaos swiftly follows as the guards who were loyal to the Witch of the East arrive and it causes anarchy and a munchkin civil war where during in the scuffle but worse as well she then gets face to face with Carabossa, The Wicked Witch of the West. Dorothy then followed some few other munchkins to avoid the mess laying about for safety where in the nick of time The Good Witch of the North herself, Locasta arrives she tells Dorothy to put on the Silver Shoes of the recently dead Wicked Witch where she wears them and then is given a kiss on the forehead by Locasta for some neat little protection she then tells Dorothy that well since her powers aren't that strong to take her back to Kansas and home but she does tell her to go to the Emerald City and meet and ask the Wizard of Oz who could help her back and to get there she has to take the Yellow Brick Road.
Now Dorothy and her dog Toto now begin their journey to see the Wizard and along the way will meet various people who might end up becoming some friends and companions along the way but as well the start of something.... Wonderful

In the veins of my ideas for my reimagined spin on Marvel, DC, Godzilla and Transformers I thought it would be fun to take a crack on the Land of Oz
Some inspirations for my one include so obviously it would be somewhat loyal to Baum's work but with its own unique spin but its other inspirations and influence are stuff like the MGM movie (obviously), Wicked and Tin Man etc for example
