The storm took a bit to pass. Long enough for the sky to begin to fade to dusk. Long enough for the land bridge to reappear from the main land to Paws Island. As soon as the last of the rumbling was over and the rain began to dissipate, Sahima and Kiyomi set back out to head back to the main land. However, this time, Sahima followed Kiyomi without a word needing to be said to check on the turtles.
During their trot back to the turtle nesting area, Sahima had the idea to thank Kiyomi for her help. But the words never seemed to escape from her mouth. Not even after they reached the Duo of turtles. Instead, Sahima stood in silence while Kiyomi chatted with the sea turtles. She felt a bit awkward standing there while the trio chatted up. So without a single goodbye, Sahima left. She had other things to do anyways. It wasn’t really her problem anymore now.
