Now lets learn how to blend colors. The key to a good blend is to not let the marker dry on the paper. First find a set of two three or more colors you want to blend (if using the color palette like blues in this case) try to find somewhat compatible colors unless you want unique. I usually start by using the lightest color and use it as a base layer. Next use the next lightest color and go over the portion of the paper you want darker. (Do small sections if you are doing a large area so as to not let the marker dry on the paper). After laying this layer, immediatly grab the light color again and start going over both sections at the transition point, the longer you go the more smoother the transition will be. After you do this grab your next darker color and repeat. I hope i didn't confuse you to much.
