Some people have asked a few times to do a tutorial on how i progressed through my pics so i figured i would finially do it. This is the first time doing this in words so here we go. I use prisma-markers mostly for my works with a few other medias (copic markers, prisma-pencils). The key to getting a nice smooth color like the color patch on the right is to move your marker in a set of close random swirls (like the squiggly black line in the pic). If you don't you will get a barred look like the color patch on the right. Another example of what happens if you don't do this look at the coloring of this old picture of mine http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3905094/. Also don't follow a set pattern occasionally lift your marker and start in a another place close to were you lifted. Hopefully this will help you achieve a nice smooth color.
