This is my attempt at a piano solo arrangement of the very famous theme song for the television show "Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends," later simplified to just "Thomas & Friends." The characters made their debut in the series of books by the Rev. W. Awdry and his son, Christopher, and were brought to television by British writer and producer Britt Allcroft. Here in the United States, the segments were featured as part of the PBS television show "Shining Time Station." The stories were originally narrated by Ringo Starr in the UK (who also was the original Mr. Conductor on "Shining Time Station") and later by George Carlin in the US (who replaced Ringo as Mr. Conductor). There have been others since then, but those are the two I'm most familiar with; there have also been other theme songs as well, but this is the one I wanted to do.
