Jeez, it's like something out of a Japanese Anime! So yeah, this may need some explaining~
Basically, I recently spotted
Lippenrot's Avatar on SecondLife, which is a modded Curious Ringtail made into some sort of Half-Octopus critter. I found the tentacley appendages (Much like those from a Displacer Beast from D&D) rather interesting, so sought out the source of them and had a fiddle around. After a bit of fiddling, and some inspiration from the Doomed Ship Roleplay SIM, I came up with a sort of "Alien Infection" looking version of Ranger.
This is pretty much just a drawn version of that avatar. Not really too much different from the original, but I thought it was interesting enough. Main differences are, of course, those extra appendages. Two "Grasper" style tentacles protrude from the shoulder-blades and the lower back, and 4 (Only 2 visible here) normal tentacles sprout from the rest of the back. The lower body is also a lot thicker, the thighs are much wider and bulky, and the shins and feet are large and rounded, and the tail is much thicker and bulkier in general. The stomach is also bloated slightly, and constantly moving, possibly something unnatural inside it squirming about until a host is found, perhaps.
I had a lot of fun with this piece too, those tentacles sure were fun to doodle bein' all noodley and neatly shaped at the tips, and it was fun to just experiment a little on a few things, like the positioning and curves of the tail (Look just under the closest thigh) and the general pose and ambient coloring.
All in all it was rather fun to doodle, though don't expect this to be a permanent thing, it was purely for fun and maybe an occasional RP or two, doubt I'll be drawing it much, if at all, after this~

Yes, quite frightening; and I love the dark brooding background and those eyes as they gleem with an evil glow. And I like that you changed the shade of the horns, it really darkens the form a bit further. Excellent.
But I'm actually intruiged by the squirming buldge. I'm guessing it's a parasite of some sort or something along those lines, but what I want to know is does the parasite make the monster, or does the monster make the parasite (as in, parasitic offspring causing the monster to seek out host bodies as well as prey)?

Yeah, I decided to use darker versions of my normal colors for this. Turned down the red, yellow, even added a sorta yellow-ish tinge to the teeth and horns to make them look sort of rotted in a way. :3 Only thing I kept bright was those eyes~
And I'd probably go for the latter, a parasite created inside the monster to be sent to a new host when one's found~
