This is an illumination that I did for Mephitis as part of the Funday Pawpet Show fundraiser last year. When I moved,all the calligraphy materials were packed away, and I just got it unpacked yesterday.

This is an illuminated "M" with 4 colors of ink (excluding the black), and gold ink highlights. (The gold does not show too well in the scans.) The capital letter is an original design to me inspired by a gothic text and a medieval text. It was done on parchment.
